12/24我們全家只缺小弟一起去Bellini吃飯,這似乎已是個傳統了.說真的,要挑嘴又龜毛的爸爸媽媽喜歡一家餐館那真是非常不容易,但是Bellini多年來已伴隨著我們全家渡過很多個特別的日子,可見那裏的廚藝是真的不賴.服務生也專業的沒話說.

總之,我那天"電"完頭髮後趕到Bellini和家人會合.我當然也馬上拿出"公物"來創造個人優質生活.此公物就是那台Sony 的Cyber shot.非常好用!!小小一台拍照攝影皆可,我用它拍了很多學生表演的片段和上課實況,可說是教學上的好幫手呢!

但是....直到今晚...已過了3天,我才發現...哎???它在那裏???今天學生表演時我還後悔沒養成習慣隨身攜帶,錯過了四年庚班精彩的演出...

 

結果,我和爸爸媽媽上上下下翻遍了就是不在!!!問Bellini他們也說沒看到!!!過了驚荒失措的1小時...我正準備放棄,開始上網查價錢看我得賠多少時.....

 

弟妺打電話來說找到了!!被壓在大頭狗下面!!! Whew!!!! THAT WAS CLOSE!

 

言歸正傳,這學期我嘗試了很多new idea, one of them is ....ACTING OUT.

 

It's actually more like the so-called RT, which I later learned. Since our time is always limited, I think it's better to ask them to read instead of memorizing scripts. After numberous experience of doing play with kids, I learned 2 golden rules.

 

One small goal a time.

Interrupt then continue. 

 

First set ur goals for the play, better be brief and fun. U don't always have to create your own. Inventing something from nothing is great, but not necessarily fit the demand of time and students' level. Take my 4th graders for instance, one of the jazz chant in their text book goes like this...

 

So I add in another three lines.

Kids had a great time reading this, coz they can relate the chant with their life. Plus it brings more color and laughter into the classroom.

Then I asked them to act out as a group.
